FAQ

Answers to common questions about Lite News coverage, subscriptions, licensing and setup.

Product And Content

What am I buying

A licence to use full-content technology and business news feeds from Lite News under one editorial product or brand that you own and control. You may publish through that brand’s owned website, app, newsletter, and comparable owned channels. Stories arrive as RSS or JSON so they can flow into your publishing workflow.

How is this different from free sample feeds?

Free samples show headlines and short summaries only. Paid plans include the full article text, full metadata and the right to republish it under the standard licence.

How many stories will I get?

Article volume varies with the news cycle. View the live sample feeds to assess the current coverage and publishing cadence before subscribing.

How are the stories produced?

Lite News uses a research-first publishing pipeline. Public news signals can start the process; the system then researches publicly available information, builds a fact pack, drafts an original article, and runs risk and originality checks. Stories that do not meet the required standards are blocked. NXT Ltd is the publisher of Lite News and sets and operates its editorial standards and publishing controls. See how we publish and judge the output in the sample feeds.

Is this AI-generated content?

Yes. AI assists research and drafting within a controlled publishing workflow. Independent research happens before drafting, evidence and risk checks can stop publication, and articles are written in original, neutral language and structure for licensed reuse. NXT Ltd is the publisher of Lite News and sets and operates its editorial standards and publishing controls. Read how we publish or review the sample feeds.

Can I use Lite News across multiple publications?

The Standard plan covers one publication. Contact us to discuss licensing for multiple publications, brands or client properties.

English and French: do I get both?

Yes on the licensed plan. English and French are delivered as separate feeds so you can use one or both.

Licensing And Use

Do I have to credit Lite News?

Yes. Attribution is required under the standard licence. A typical credit line is: ‘Source: Lite News / litenews.litegroup.media’. During the domain transition, the previous credit remains acceptable for articles already published or workflows not yet updated. Full rules are on the standard licence and reuse and licensing pages.

Can I edit Lite News articles?

You may format and present articles to suit your publication’s design. You must not alter the headline, summary or article text unless the Standard Licence expressly permits it. If you need different editing rights, contact us to discuss a custom agreement.

Can I style the content with our branding?

Yes. Articles published in accordance with the Standard Licence while your subscription was active may remain online with the required attribution. Once access ends, you must stop accessing the feeds and publishing new Lite News articles.

What counts as one publication?

One publication means one editorial product or brand that you own and control. It may publish through its associated website, app, newsletter and other channels permitted by the Standard Licence. A separately branded editorial product requires additional licensing. For example, one publication may use Lite News across its website and associated newsletter; a second publication with a different brand requires separate permission.

Can published articles remain online after I cancel?

Yes. Articles lawfully published while your subscription was active may remain in that publication with the required attribution. You must stop accessing the licensed feeds and publishing new Lite News articles when the subscription ends.

Setup And Billing

How hard is setup?

After payment is completed through Stripe, we email your feed URLs and access details, usually within one business day. Once you connect the feeds, new stories become available as Lite News publishes them. You can manage billing and cancellation through the Customer Portal.

What happens after I subscribe?

Pay on Stripe, receive access by email, connect the feeds, and new stories flow in as we publish. Manage billing anytime in the Customer portal.

Is setup or technical integration included?

The Standard plan includes feed access and setup guidance, but implementation within your website, CMS, app or newsletter platform is not included. Contact us if you need custom onboarding or integration support.

Can I cancel?

Yes. You can cancel through the Customer Portal at any time. Your subscription and feed access will continue until the end of the current paid billing period. After access ends, you may no longer publish new Lite News articles.

Do consumers have a 14-day cancellation right?

Yes. If you buy wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft, or profession, you may cancel the initial subscription during the 14 days beginning the day after checkout and receive a full refund. Feed access and the licence will end, and you must remove any Lite News articles published under the refunded subscription. See the consumer cancellation page for the procedure and model form. Mandatory rights under your local law are unaffected.

Is VAT included in the price?

No. Plan prices are shown excluding tax. The licensed plan is £99/month excluding VAT, or £118.80/month including 20% UK VAT. Outside the UK, tax depends on where you are and whether you buy as a business or a consumer, and it is calculated at checkout. Custom plans start from £499/month excluding VAT. The seller is NXT Ltd (VAT number GB 248 7977 38).

How will I be billed?

You pay by card through Stripe. Billing is monthly, renews automatically, and there is no minimum term. Cancel anytime. Stripe sends the receipt or invoice; we send your Lite News access email separately.

Can I change my payment details or download invoices?

Yes. Use the Customer portal with the email from checkout to update your card, download invoices and receipts, or cancel. Need help with billing or missing access details? Contact us.
