The rules for using this marketing site and related Lite News services.
Version 2.1 · Last updated 16 August 2026.
Terms at a glance
These terms cover how you may use our websites and services. Buying a feed licence also means accepting the licence terms for that plan.
The summary below is for orientation. The numbered sections are the full terms.
- The sites and feeds are provided as described; availability and accuracy can vary.
- You must not misuse the service or treat technical access as a republishing right.
- Publishing new full articles requires an active licence. Articles lawfully published while subscribed may remain online under the continuing licence conditions.
This summary does not replace the full terms below.

1. About these terms
Lite Group Media and Lite News are operated by NXT Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 08817847 and VAT number GB 248 7977 38, with registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, London, England, WC2H 9JQ. These Terms apply to litegroup.media, litenews.litegroup.media, their public pages, sample feeds, and related services.
By accessing or using a site or service covered by these Terms, you confirm that you have read and understood them. If you do not agree, you should not use the relevant site or service.
The Standard Licence applies to the licensed plan. A written custom agreement applies to a custom plan. For licensed use, a custom agreement takes priority, followed by the Standard Licence, then these Terms, to the extent of any conflict.
2. Nature of the service
- Lite News publishes information-focused news reporting prepared using publicly available information at the time of writing. Content is provided for general informational purposes.
- Nothing on Lite News is intended to constitute legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice, and it should not be relied upon as such.
3. Purchases and subscriptions
The price, billing interval, and any applicable taxes are displayed before you place your order and confirmed after checkout. By subscribing, you agree to the price shown at checkout. The subscription renews automatically each month at the agreed price until cancelled. Stripe processes payments and provides the billing portal. We issue your Lite News access details separately, normally within one business day after successful checkout.
You may cancel through the Stripe billing portal at any time, effective at the end of the current paid period unless stated otherwise. Consumers may also cancel the initial subscription during the 14 days beginning on the day after checkout, as explained in the Consumer Cancellation Notice. The Standard Licence contains the complete payment, cancellation, and licensed-use terms. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable local law remain unaffected.
4. Availability and accuracy
- We aim to operate Lite News reliably and to publish content responsibly. However, the site and its content are provided on an “as available” basis.
- To the extent permitted by law, NXT Ltd does not make any representation or warranty that content will be complete, up to date, free from errors, or suitable for any particular purpose.
5. Acceptable use
You may use Lite News for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use the site in a way that breaches applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, or related systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation, integrity, or security of the site or any networks connected to it.
- Introduce malware, automated attacks, or other harmful code.
- Systematically extract, scrape, harvest, or republish content except as permitted under these Terms or an applicable licence.
- Use the site or sample feeds to create a competing news or feed service by copying or re-distributing Lite News content.
- We may apply reasonable technical measures to protect service reliability and prevent abuse, including rate limits and access controls.
6. Sample feeds
- Lite News may provide sample RSS or other public feeds for reading and evaluation. Sample feeds are not licensed syndication feeds and do not grant republishing or redistribution rights.
- We may change, restrict, suspend, or withdraw sample feeds at any time, and may apply reasonable limits to automated access.
7. Licensed feeds and reuse rights
Rights to reuse or republish Lite News content, and access to full-content feeds or professional formats, are available under a separate licence. Any reuse rights are granted only under the applicable licence terms and only for the scope, formats, and destinations specified in that licence.
If there is any conflict between these Terms and a signed or accepted licence agreement, the licence agreement will take precedence for licensed use.
8. Intellectual property
- Unless otherwise stated, intellectual property rights in content published by Lite News belong to, or are licensed to, NXT Ltd.
- You may view content and share links to Lite News pages. Except where permitted by law or under an applicable licence, you must not copy, reproduce, republish, redistribute, or make available any Lite News content.
- Any third-party names, trademarks, or logos appearing on Lite News remain the property of their respective owners.
9. Links to third-party sites
- Lite News may include links to external websites or resources operated by third parties. NXT Ltd does not control these sites and is not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.
- Accessing third-party sites is at your own discretion and risk.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. If you use the free sites as a business, NXT Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated savings, or data arising from that free use.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill, but not business losses. Liability for paid licensed services is governed by the applicable licence.
11. Changes to the service and these Terms
NXT Ltd may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Lite News at any time, including content, features, feeds, or availability.
We may update these Terms for legal, security, operational, or service changes. The version date shows when they changed. Changes do not retrospectively reduce accrued rights. If a material change affects a paid service, we will provide reasonable notice and you may cancel before it takes effect.
12. Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you use the service as a business, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also have rights to bring proceedings where you live.
13. Contact
If you have questions about these Terms of Service, or if you wish to discuss licensing, you may contact us using the form on the contact page or write to NXT Ltd at the registered office above.
