Getting started with Lite News

Access your feeds

After checkout, you will receive:

• A payment confirmation from Stripe.
• Your private RSS and JSON feed URLs and licence key from Lite News.
• Information about your Standard Licence and required attribution.

Feed access details are normally sent to the email address used at checkout within one business day.

Haven’t received your access email?

Check your spam folder first. If it has not arrived within one business day, contact support.

Connect your feeds

Your private RSS and JSON feeds contain the same Lite News coverage in different structured formats. Choose the format supported by your CMS, application, or newsletter workflow.

• Copy your selected private feed URL from your Lite News access email.
• Add it to your publishing system.
• Retrieve a test story and check that the content and metadata display correctly.

Use the private feed URLs supplied in your Lite News access email, not the public sample feeds. New stories become available through your feeds as Lite News publishes them.

Check before publishing

Before publishing Lite News content:

• Keep your feed URLs and licence key private.
• Use the content only for the editorial brand covered by your Standard plan and its permitted owned channels.
• Present the supplied content unchanged, as required by the Standard Licence.
• Add the required attribution: Source: Lite News / litenews.litegroup.media. During the domain transition, the previous lite.news credit remains acceptable for articles already published or workflows not yet updated.
• Confirm that your workflow can handle corrections or withdrawals.
• Test the published output on each channel where the content will appear.
